The dividers

Five parts to every track.

Learn the pattern, ask for it, test it on a real sheet, then compare with the finished file.

Skill tracks across the whole workflow

From formulas and data cleaning to pivots, dashboards, Power Query and macros. Start with the track that solves this week’s problem.

  • Formulas & Functions
  • Pivots, dashboards & charts
  • Power Query, VBA & automation

Try it

Pick a question. See the prompt and the formula.

Each chip is a task from the Formulas track. You see a well-written prompt, the formula it should return, and that formula worked out on a small example sheet.

Where it helps

The spreadsheet moments it is built for.

  1. A person working on a laptop in an office
    Monday

    The weekly report

Rebuild it once with formulas instead of copying cells.

  2. Data charts on a screen
    Clean-up

    A messy export

Split names, trim spaces and fix dates step by step.

  3. A notebook and coffee next to a laptop
    Lookup

    Two sheets, one answer

Match records between tabs with XLOOKUP.

  4. Colleagues in a meeting with a laptop
    Meeting

    A chart people read

Turn a pivot into a dashboard your team opens.

  5. Someone studying in the evening with a laptop
    Evening

    Learn at your pace

One lesson, one workbook, then stop.

How it works

Three sheets to work through.

  1. Sheet 1

    Subscribe and open a track

Every module is available the moment your plan starts.

  2. Sheet 2

    Practise on the workbook

Follow the lesson with the downloadable file and the prompt cheat-sheet.

  3. Sheet 3

Use it on your own sheets

Apply the same prompt patterns to the work in front of you.

Questions

Before you start.

01Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan?

No. The free tier of ChatGPT covers the lessons. A few advanced lessons mention paid features, and they say so clearly.

02Which version of Excel works?

Excel desktop on Windows or Mac, or Excel for the web. Lessons that rely on Microsoft 365 features are marked.

03I have never used a pivot table. Is this for me?

Yes. Start with Formulas & Functions and Pivots & Reporting. Each lesson explains the idea before it asks you to use it.

04What is in each module?

Guided lessons, a practice workbook, a prompt cheat-sheet and a finished version of the workbook to compare against.

05Can I learn on my phone?

You can follow lessons on any device. For the workbooks, a laptop or desktop with Excel is easiest.

06Is there a trial?

Yes, on plans that show a trial line, such as a 3-day trial. The price after the trial and the billing period are shown on each plan before you subscribe, and you can cancel from your profile.

07How do I cancel?

Open your profile, go to your subscription and cancel there. You can also contact our support team.
